Magic Bars

Yummo-o. What can beat sweetened condensed milk? I remember dipping bananas, marshmallows and graham crackers int it for an after-school snack.

This recipe of is a modified version of the Eagle Brand "Magic Cookie Bars".

1 3/4 cup graham cracker crumbs
1/2 cup butter
1 cup semisweet chocolate chips
1 cup butterscotch chips
1 cup sweetened flaked coconut
1 (14 oz) can sweetened condensed milk
(my mom always added 1/2 cup chopped walnuts, but I don't mix nuts with dessert)

Preheat oven to 350 degrees. In a small bowl, combine graham cracker crumbs and butter; mix well. Press crumb mixture firmly on bottom of 13x9 inch baking pan. Bake in oven to set for 3-4 minutes. Remove from oven.

Layer crust with chocolate chips, butterscotch chips and coconut. Cover completely with sweetened condensed milk. Return to oven and bake for 20-25 minutes or until lightly browned. Cool if you can wait that long.
