Oatmeal Butterscotch Chocolate Chip Cookies

1 cup butter, room temperature
1 1/2 cups brown sugar
2 eggs
1 T water
1 tsp. pure vanilla extract
2 cups flour (I use white whole wheat flour - a very fine whole wheat flour, but you can use all-purpose)
2 tsp. baking powder
1 tsp. baking soda
1 tsp. salt
1 1/2 cups oatmeal
1 cup butterscotch chips
1 cup semisweet chocolate chips

Preheat oven to 350 degrees and line cookie sheets with parchment paper.

Combine butter and sugar and cream until smooth. Add eggs and beat until light and fluffy. Add water and extract and beat until smooth.

In a separate bowl whisk together flour, baking powder, baking soda and salt. Add flour mixture to wet ingredients. Blend in oatmeal and chips just until incorporated.

Drop by tablespoons onto cookie sheets. Bake for 8-10 minutes or until edges are golden brown. Should make between 3 and 4 dozen cookies.

You have always been so talented!! This cookies sound delicioso! I may have to try the recipe, although knowing my skills in the kitchen (or lack, thereof) I will end up with burned blobs on a old cookie sheet.
